Snow Day!
Are you having fun today Dragonflies? Has anyone been outside to build a snowman? You can share your photos by emailing them to us at mjbensly.darwin@blogger.com. I'll check them, then post them onto our blog. Remember, don't put any names if you are in the picture - we know who you are! (And no last names at all).
Looking forward to seeing them!
Have a great day,
Mrs Bensly

School Sleep over
Dear Parents/Carers,
We are planning a sleepover at school to help us with our unit on Light and Dark. We usually have a sleepover in the summer term, but as it is too light then, we have decided to move it to winter. We are thinking of doing it before February half term, but are not yet sure of a date.
Children will go home from school as usual on the day (probably a Friday), giving the adults time to set up and arrange things in school. The children will return to school at about 4.30pm, through the front door. We'll do activities and fun things into the evening.
We will give the children dinner (and snacks!) as well as breakfast the next day.
We will be sleeping, altogether, in the hall, where we will watch a film before going to sleep. Children will need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow, as well as pyjamas. They will also be allowed to bring a stuffed toy to help them sleep! No iPods, phones, DSIs or other games, etc are allowed. We will also ask that they bring a torch.
